Files You Upload

Files uploaded to TempDrive are stored temporarily on our servers to enable storage and sharing functionality. We do not inspect or analyze file content beyond what is necessary for service operation.

Account Information

If you create an account, we collect your email address and authentication credentials to manage access and communication.

Usage Data

We automatically collect technical information such as IP addresses, browser type, device identifiers, and interaction patterns to maintain and improve service performance and security.

How We Use Data

  • To deliver core file storage and sharing capabilities
  • To generate secure, time-limited access links and QR codes
  • To send automated notifications regarding file status and expiration
  • To monitor, detect, and prevent fraudulent or unauthorized activity
  • To analyze aggregate usage trends for service optimization

File Storage & Auto Deletion

Temporary Storage: All uploaded files are stored exclusively on secure, encrypted servers provided by Supabase.

Auto-Deletion: Files are automatically and permanently deleted after seven (7) days from the upload timestamp. No backup copies are retained after this period.

Anonymous Analytics: Aggregated, non-identifiable usage data may be retained indefinitely to guide product development and infrastructure scaling.

Data Security

We employ industry-standard safeguards to protect your data, including:

  • Encryption of data at rest and in transit (TLS 1.2+)
  • Signed, short-lived URLs for file access
  • Regular security audits and infrastructure updates
  • Strict access controls and monitoring

  • Withdraw consent for non-essential data processing
